Couples and Partnership
Therapy

Stephanie’s integrative and collaborating approach allows couples and partnerships to openly discuss concerns in a safe and comfortable environment. In working with partners, Stephanie utilizes a trauma lens and addresses all areas of the relationship. Stephanie’s view of trauma is an unplanned, alteration in a prospective life journey that may hinder the sense of safety, self-worth, identity or engagement in relationships.

In sessions you will be in a neutral setting, where each partner is heard and able to express concerns from their perspective. Throughout therapy, Stephanie holds break-out sessions, where each partner will meet with her individually as part of the best practice process. Couple and partner therapy works on minor individual struggles, which influence the relationship, while primarily focusing on the relationship system.

Clients develop and strengthen coping mechanisms through psychotherapy from a Bowenian approach, utilizing cognitive behavioral therapy and inner-child exploration coupled with experiential sessions, in processing through distressing situations.
